Usually, fragrance creations for candles are less qualitative than those for perfumes: the budgetary constraints imposed on perfumers make it impossible to use noble raw materials. To break the rules and offer scented candles of exceptional quality, we gave Antoine Lie free access to our collection of exclusive ingredients labelled ‘Grands Crus’. Our laboratory has developed an exclusive wax, resulting from the crafting of the famous floral absolutes used in the most precious perfumes. Its burning properties and olfactory performance have been patiently tested to ensure perfect diffusion. For the jar, we’ve collaborated with the young candle brand Place Dauphine which has created a biscuit in Limoges porcelain. Made-to-measure and handcrafted, its sleek design gives it a sophisticated contemporary style. The finesse of the material reflects the sparkling flame gentleness.
